I happen to look over at a clump of palmetto bushes and thought I saw a "cat" disappear into the clump. I wondered what a cat was doing out in this part of the woods. Chris picked up on something and asked me what it was. I told them I thought I'd seen a cat.

We turned around and went on the other side of the palmetto and sure enough, there was the "cat." A bobcat not a house cat! Tickled me that I was the one to spot it. I think all told I've seen 3 and each time is as special as the last!Laure Ferlitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14966163843633158039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3959678271197877448.post-32446258557091753872012-02-19T07:05:54.800-08:002012-02-19T07:05:54.800-08:00Wow.. what great sightings. What fabulous sightings. The closest I have been to a bobcat is to see their footprints in mud. One was hit by a car about a couple of miles from my house.
